the service was very kind. the room was well decorated. the bathroom was completely renovated (i liked that!). the staff had great recommendations. it was my birthday , and they had a surprise for me. it was very sweet of them.
the rooms are a little small and in need of some care.

the building has loads of original features. breakfast is served in a pretty room that included an outside courtyard. the hotel also offers luggage storage . the breakfast venue should be nice during warmer seasons.

the breakfast buffet is dine-in, with seating both inside and outside. the breakfast was ample. the hotel sent an e-mail a day or two before our arrival. it highlighted a few restaurants in the area. this was very helpful.

the location is near the train station santa maria novella. it is a short walk to the historical center. the hotel is in a safe area. i managed to go to all main touristic attractions by foot.

I found the staff accommodating. they promptly addressed every question i had! the location was perfect, close to everything. breakfast offered a good variety of options. The selection was amazing!!!
i noticed that the hallway carpets seemed a bit worn. this is just a small detail that could use some attention.

The room had high ceilings and large windows that let in ample light. there was a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary beverages. It was such a nice touch. the bed linens felt very luxurious.

The hotel sits near many restaurants. the immediate area felt okay all time, even late at night. getting around was simple since the train station was so close. So convenient!!!

adequate stay with some issues
street noisestale items
my room faced the street and suffered from significant noise intrusion both from traffic and pedestrian activity late into the night the window did not provide adequate sound insulation it was difficult to sleep soundly despite using earplugs additionally i found the breakfast selection limited and uninspired several items tasted stale i expected fresher more varied options for a hotel of this supposed standard

poor soundproofingwatered juice
I found a couple of things not quite up to par. The soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear noise from other rooms! The breakfast selection could also use some improvement. The hot food wasn't very warm. The juice seemed watered down, too.
